Our Story
Some names belong to only one soul.
This brand is named after mine.
It was the summer of 2016 when I first held Stashly — a tiny golden of fur, fast asleep in my arms on the way home.
I spent days thinking of the perfect name. In the end, I gave him the simplest one I could think of. But there was nothing simple about the love that followed.
As a puppy, Stashly was equal parts adorable and chaotic. He chewed through sofas, shoes, wallets — even my ID card. He was a tiny tornado wrapped in golden fur. But as the years passed, he grew into the most loyal, gentle soul I had ever known. He learned to fetch packages, carry his own leash, and whenever we were outside, his eyes never left me — as if he was afraid of losing me.
He was always the one watching over me.
We had 3,082 days together. I always thought I'd have at least until he was twelve. I had plans — camping trips, and a long-overdue promise to take him to see snow for the first time. I had already started researching warm coats for him.
Then, in the autumn of 2024, Stashly got sick. I dropped everything and rushed him to the best veterinary hospital I could find. For two weeks, he fought — endocarditis, pulmonary edema, a ventilator, relentless fever. And every single time, he pulled through. He was the bravest, most resilient soul I have ever known.
I visited him every day. I massaged his legs. I talked to him. I told him I loved him.
On October 9, 2024, at 17:20, his heart rate slowly fell to 90... then, in one second — zero.
I told the doctors: "Let him go. He's been through enough."
I knew he needed courage to let go. And I couldn't be selfish enough to make him stay.
His leash is sealed in a bag now. On the hardest nights, I open it just to catch a trace of his scent. His squeaky toy sits on my shelf. For a few nights after, I slept in his bed — just to feel close to him one more time.
"You were the best dog. I will love you forever."
After losing Stashly, I asked myself one question that I couldn't let go of:
"If I had found better products sooner — would he have had more time?"
That question became STASHLY.
Not a business. A promise. Every product we carry is chosen with one question in mind: "Would I have given this to Stashly?" If the answer isn't an immediate yes — it doesn't make it here.
Safe. Trusted. Made with love.
This is Stashly's gift to the world — and our promise to you and your pet. 🐾
